How it all began

Matt has a love for all things adventure - whether that’s backcountry skiing, mountain biking, sailing or driving anything that moves fast. Originally from Darien, Connecticut, Matt spent several years working in San Francisco and visiting Lake Tahoe (nearly every weekend) before moving to Los Angeles.

Alex, a science nerd, wine buff, Francophile and lover of the arts has interests as varied as the industries she has worked in which has ranged from film & entertainment, to selling men’s razors at Dollar Shave Club, to health tech. She is a lifelong Angelino, save for four years in New York at Vassar College.

Alex and Matt first met at their business school orientation in 2018. Friends for the first year of their USC MBA program, they bonded over their shared passions for architecture, art-house film, the outdoors, eerily similar musical tastes and exploring new places. Things infamously turned romantic during a business school trip to Hong Kong… Now, we're ready to make it official!
